PMASUP236: OPERATE VEHICLES IN THE FIELD

To successfully operate a vehicle in the field, participants will gain hands-on experience navigating challenging terrain and learn essential off-road driving techniques  

Cost:  $350 per person

Duration:  8 hours (8am to 4pm)

Location:  LOW 4 Off Road proving grounds in Mareeba or on location at your workplace

  • Prepare vehicle and secure load
  • Undertake journey
  • Operate vehicle
  • Recover vehicle
  • Maintain vehicle safety

what to bring

  • USI (Unique Student Identifier), including 3 forms of identification (ID)
  • 4WD vehicle – 4WD Hire vehicle is available upon request for additional cost
  • Comfortable shoes (closed in recommended)
  • Sun-smart clothing (we suggest a wide brimmed hat, long sleeve shirts and long pants)
  • A raincoat (wet season)
  • Sunscreen
  • Water, snacks and lunch – please note Jaques Coffee is located next door or you can take a short drive to Mareeba.
